Dental Health Care: Licensing, Registration, and Renewal
The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department has implemented an online licensing system for all Dental Health Care occupations. This investment will simplify the licensing process, making it easier for applicants and licensees to apply for and renew licenses in New Mexico.
Applications for initial licensure must be submitted through an online portal.

Pursuant to 16.5.1.15: A licensee or certificate holder may take the board’s open book jurisprudence examination, once a year, and be granted three (3) hours of continuing education credit for successfully passing the exam with the score of 75% or above. There will be a $25.00 fee for the exam to cover the cost of handling.
