Board of Psychologist Examiners
The function of the Board of Psychologist Examiners is to regulate the practice of psychology in a manner that ensures public safety by:
- Ensuring appropriate licensure requirements for psychologists, psychologist associates, and prescribing psychologists, and providing for the administrations of a national and state jurisprudence examination.
- Establishing and enforcing the laws, regulations, and the code of professional conduct governing the practice of psychology.
- Requiring that any person practicing or offering psychological services is licensed.
- Providing effective means for resolving consumer complaints.
