The Construction Industries Division protects consumers by regulating the industry through policies that promote business growth, safety, and general welfare of the public. The division strives to provide excellent customer service, every time, while:
- Ensuring that construction is performed in a safe, competent, and professional manner
- Licensing contractors and enforcing licensing laws
- Requiring licensure for any person practicing or offering to practice construction contracting
- Enforcing the laws, regulations, and standards governing construction contracting in a fair and uniform manner
- Providing resolution to disputes that arise from construction activities

Free parking is available on 8th Street and behind the building.
Registration for the event is requested but not required. Follow this link to help us plan the event.
This event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public.

CID Permitting Changes
There are changes coming to the CID permitting system aimed at making the permitting process easier and less confusing. Upon deployment, you will notice fewer items which can be selected from the menu of inspection types.
Please watch the tutorial video that will assist in answering any questions regarding this change.
