Apply For a License

The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department and State of New Mexico have implemented a new online automated licensing system to simplify the process to apply for a professional license, reduce or eliminate separate forms to complete, and expedite the time between when an application is submitted and when a license is issued.

Beginning January 2022, all applications for initial licensure and renewals will be completed electronically using our new online licensing portal. Paper applications and payments will no longer be accepted.

New Applicants who have not held a license before with the board can access the online portal and create an account by clicking on the Apply for a New License link, below.

Current Licensees were sent a registration email in September 2021, from noreply.rldlicensing@state.nm.us with a unique link to log in and access their records, renew their current license, or to upgrade or apply for a new license. If you hold a license and did not receive this automated email with a registration link, please check your spam or junk folders first, and then contact our technical support staff to obtain a new registration link by emailing them the request with your name, license type, and number to RLD.CTHelpDesk@rld.nm.gov.
