License Renewals Are Online:

The Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists and the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department are implementing a new automated licensing system. This investment will simplify the licensing process, making it easier for licensees to renew licenses in New Mexico, eliminating paper forms and money orders, and cut down on staff time required to process, review, and renew licenses.

Please check your email and for an email with your username. If you do not know your password, or never created one, you will need to click the Forgot Password link to reset/create a password.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Discontinuation of Booth Establishment Licensing

The Regulation and Licensing Department and the Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists no longer require a license to rent a booth as of November 15, 2021. Individuals will no longer need to apply for booth establishment licenses and current licensees will not be required to renew any active booth establishment license or process change of location applications.
